Kristin Ford
Kristin is a fast rising singer/songwriter hailing from Richmond, Virginia. A classically trained guitarist, she blends well-crafted compositions with her unique voice into her own brand of acoustic rock. Kristin started gracing the stages of her hometown bars and coffee shops at age 17, and has since released 3 independent CD’s with the help of notable musicians: members of the Pat McGee Band, Red Redling (New Potato Caboose), and engineer John Morand (Hanson, Joan Osborne, Carbon Leaf). After spending a year studying Music Business at Radford University, Kristin received her Music degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006. Known for her infectious live performances, Kristin has shared the stage with Ember Swift, CommonbonD, Bitch (of Bitch and Animal), Susan Greenbaum, Laura Blackley Band, Zoe Lewis, Trina Hamlin, among other diverse artists. Kristin is currently touring in support of her fourth full length CD "Torn", produced by Rich Stine (Fighting Gravity).
